I am a Miami based designer with my career spanning over 15 years in food service to later transition into my new found passion of building digital products that give brands meaning and impact the people who enjoy them for the past 3 years.

Born and raised in Miami, FL my passion for creativity and design began in high school where i graduated as a communications tech major and along the line ended up in food service industry for 15 years working along side some of the most talented and creative minds South Florida could produce.

In that time I rediscovered my passion for creating digital products and went back to school to become a front end developer. In my final semester i was introduced to the world of UX design and i immediately knew that this was the creative outlet i was looking for.

Today i work as the product designer for EMBR digital which is a small team of creatives looking to push the boundaries of creativity and explore the possibilities of the digital landscape.

Shaping the digital experience by collaborating directly with clients, developing high fidelity designs, conducting user research and iterating designs based on insights and stakeholder feedback. A key highlight in a successful product launch was seeing a 12% conversion rate over a 14-day period.

Designing prototypes, identifying pain points and assisting with client satisfaction lead to strong performance metrics; In some cases leading to an increased 25% click through rate. Improving designs and on-time delivery played a role in high client retention.

The primary focus for the role to create a product that would enhance appointment conversions. This was achieved by identifying user needs through thorough user research and understanding market habits. The result was a 28% increase in conversion rates for research volunteers and a 40% bounce rate for overall users.
